Release Notes

With the advent of MVC 4 a new SimpleMembershipProvider model was established to work with the new types of Web Applications and these have been adopted by the Model View Controller team as version 4.

This product is currently in Alpha release and not nearly complete at this time. The development team at T Squared Software, Inc. is continuously working on this product for both our clients and the community. It is a complete integration of WebMatrix.WebData.WebSecurity facade layer to our Simple Membership Provider and Simple Role Provider.

In this release we have the following items:
Full n-tiered framework complete and talking from the front-end web application to the backend web application.
Full database scripts that work with the Kracken Tools to forward engineer the new database structure.
Full data tier integration with the database as Data Transfer Objects that are also built as POCO objects with a Model-View-Controller pattern for the repository.
Full business objects support including workflow integration for complex rules handling, Applications Facade Layer, and full implementations of the Extended Membership Provider and the Role Provider from System.Web.Provider.
Full MVC 4 front end which will be used to add users, roles, applications, etc. This front-end also utilizes the Membership provider configuration entries for the entire security provider.

This is a prototype in alpha stage at this time and should not be used for production. It is a learning module for our Kracken Tools training course and as such is in continuous development. At the conclusion of this project we will post the providers out to Code Gallery and write a book on how to do it.

Happy Coding !

T Squared Development Team
